The Cleveland Browns franchise has had a rough go of it with their players over the last 20 years. Josh Gordon has been one of them. Not because of his play on the field, but because of his substance abuse issues off of it.

Yesterday, news came about that Gordon failed a drug test last month and tested positive for marijuana. Both Gordon's "A" and "B" samples were positive for marijuana and dilute.

According to the Fox Sports report, the level of marijuana in the Gordon's system was below the 35 nanogram threshold, but the diluted sample is the same as a positive test by the NFL's standards.

This news comes after it was revealed that both Gordon and troubled quarterback Johnny Manziel had been rooming together. In a TMZ video, Manziel said he was rooming with former Texas A&M teammate Von Miller, but Miller debunked the claims.

Gordon made the Pro Bowl in 2013 when he led the league with 1,646 yards receiving and caught nine touchdowns despite playing just 14 games.

Questions have emerged about whether or not Gordon would be reinstated this season, but now their is a chance he may not ever play in the NFL again.
