Kasey Kahne won the Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday night. It was Kasey's 13th career victory and his 3rd time winning this particular race.

Greg Biffle dominated the majority of the race leading 204 laps. As the race got to the last 100 laps, Kahne would take over with a very dominant looking car. Kahne would be in the same position last year at this point and would end up 22nd, so nothing was definite in this race. This would not be the case this year as he would go on and take the checkered flag. Denny Hamlin would wind up in second while Kyle Busch, Greg Biffle and Brad Keselowski would round out the top 5.

The race itself was rather uneventful as far as cautions go as most yellow flags were do to debris on the track. There were a few interesting happenings in the pits though as  Keselowski would accidentally spin Tony Stewart out as he was pulling into his pit and Jimmie Johnson would have to serve a stop and go penalty as he tried to exit his pit while the gas can wasn't completely removed. Johnson was running in the top 5 at the time of the incident and ended up finishing 11th.

The Sprint Cup Series will head to Dover next week for the Fed Ex 400. Race coverage will begin at 12:30 on FOX TV.
