Number one seed North Carolina was able to beat Crieghton on Sunday 87-73 and head to the sweet 16, but they lost a valuable part of their team in the process. After a hard foul, UNC sophomore point guard Kendall Marshall fell hard, and it resulted in a fractured wrist.  Marshall did continue to play through the pain, and right now he has two options in order to continue in the NCAA Tournament.

He can either get surgery and get a screw put in, which will stabilize his wrist, or he can play with a cast on.  Late Sunday night Marshall's father told sources that He would be getting the surgery in order to play in the tournament this weekend.
