If you need to know anything regarding New York sports, broadcaster Kenny Albert is a pretty good authority to go to.

So we did just that and we asked Albert an assortment of questions about the Knicks, Rangers and Giants.

First, we wanted to know if the Knicks were making the necessary strides toward becoming a playoff team after their encouraging loss to the Thunder on Tuesday.

The Knicks lost 128-122 in OT without Carmelo Anthony.

Furthermore, we wanted to know what the New York Rangers would do as we head toward the NHL trade deadline. Can the Blueshirts make a move to get them over the hump as they've done in the past?

Lastly, Albert was on the call for the Giants regular season finale against the Eagles. What was the vibe in the stadium like? Did it feel like Tom Coughlin's final game?

Albert works for MSG and Fox and calls hockey on NBC Sports Network.
