Early this morning, former Rutgers standout Kenny Britt was arrested for DUI at around 3:30 while trying to enter a gate at Fort Campbell, a U.S. military base. Britt was reportedly with a teammate and a female soldier at the time of the incident.

Britt, who was a first round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2009, has had a troubling history of off the field arrests during his young NFL career. This booking marks the 5th time that Britt has been arrested since the end of his rookie season, a pattern that surely will not be lost on Commisener Goodell, who is almost certain to hand the wide receiver a multi-game suspension. Britt hasn’t played an NFL game since week 3 of last season when he tore both his ACL and MCL.
