The Kentucky Wildcats remain as the top team in men's college basketball for another week in both the AP Top 25 and USA Today's Coaches poll. Kentucky entered the week with a 6-0 and received fifty nine of the possible sixty five first place votes. Maryland, Michigan State, Kansas and Iowa State round out the top five in the AP Poll. The Big 12 teams (Kansas and Iowa State) swapped spots from last week as the Cyclones from Ames were ranked fourth last week over the Jayhawks from Lawrence, Kansas. The biggest riser in the AP Poll this week was the Syracuse Orange, which jumped from unranked to 14th in the polls after defeating both UConn and Texas A&M in the Battle for Atlantis in the Bahamas. The Arizona Wildcats fell the farthest as they dropped eight spots after losing to the Providence Friars. The Wildcats jump in this week at 19th while the Friars joined the top 25 coming in at 23. Next week's poll will officially be released on Monday December 7th.
