For nearly a decade, Kevin Youkilis has been playing third base for the Boston Red Sox. That impressive run came to an end on Sunday. Youkilis was traded to the Chicago White Sox for a utility player, and pitcher Zach Stewart.

The White Sox already believe that they will be a better team with Youkilis in Chicago. Though, the past three years Youkilis has battled through a variety of injuries. The 33 year old probably has a few good years left though, and could help Chicago battle with Detorit, Cleveland and Minnesota in the AL Central.

Youkilis got quite to ovation at Fenway Park once the news broke. He walled off the field in Boston for the last time and was hugged by teammates, and cheered by fans. A very touching moment.
