The Knicks should do everything in their power to make a deal with Cleveland to get Kyrie Irving, but the deal can't and won't include Kristaps Porzingis. Carmelo Anthony would gladly play alongside LeBron James. Throw in Willie Hernangomez and as many draft picks as you can, and make the trade. Irving makes the Knicks into an instant playoff contender next season.

Irving wants to play for the Knicks and he would make New York a much more attractive option for free agents than Carmelo Anthony ever did. Pair him up with Porzingis and you're well on your way to competing in the dreadful Eastern Conference.
