Knicks Draft Kristaps Porzingis

Kristaps Porzingis has been drafted by the New York Knicks with No.4 overall pick. This is a guy that no Knick has ever seen play. He's known as a project, not exactly what Phil Jackson said he was looking for.

Porzingis just arrived in the United States last weekend, and is known as the unknown in this NBA Draft. Porzingis is a Latvian professional basketball player who played for Baloncesto Sevilla of the Liga ACB. Standing 7 ft 1 in and weighing 231 pounds , he plays the power forward and center positions.

There's always a worry of European players, ever since the drafting of Darko Milicic in the 2003 draft. Porzingis will need a good start to his NBA career to make sure the doubters, become believers.
