The Knicks held a 14-point lead at the end of the first quarter against LeBron James and the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

The Knicks endured a 24-point swing, losing by 10 points though, 96-86.

Carmelo Anthony led three Knicks players in double-figures with 17. Rookie Kristaps Porzingis had 13 while Langston Galloway had 12.

'Melo had a great night overall for New York. In addition to his 17 points, he had 12 rebounds and four assists. Those four assists came in contrast to just one turnover.

Five Cavaliers were in double-figures as LeBron led the way with 23 and Mo Williams chipped in with 22. Kevin Love had 11 while Timofey Mozgov and Tristan Thompson each had 10.

The Knicks are now 2-3 with the loss but I still think the future is bright with Porzingis, who is a star in the making for New York.

The Knicks played 13 of the 14 people on their roster yesterday, which is something you don't usually see in the NBA. The Knicks looking for depth and using it is a good thing.
