The Knicks finally got themselves a piece of history this season, but it wasn't a good kind of history.

After falling 101-91 against the Wizards on Wednesday night, the Knicks lost their 13th straight in a row, breaking the record in an organization that's been around 69 years.

''We can't get caught up in the history and record and number of games,'' said Knicks head coach Derek Fisher, ''and so we're coming out and trying to win one game, and we're supposed to celebrate because we broke a streak? No. That's not who we're going to be.''

The Knicks are 5-33 on the season and are hosting the Rockets on Thursday night.
