The New York Knicks over the past few seasons have made a few deals at the trade deadline. Last season they sent guards Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith to Cleveland and got little in return.

This season expect the Knicks to stay pat. There are rumors that link F Carmelo Anthony, PG Jerian Grant, and PG Jose Calderone to possible trades, but the Knicks have received little interest from possible trade partners.

“If you don’t hear anything as of now, I doubt we’re probably even doing something. But you never know,” Anthony said on Wednesday. Rumors have linked Anthony to Cleveland where he would be paired with LeBron James; perhaps forming a team that could beat the Golden State warriors in the finals. Anthony has a no-trade clause in his contract that allows him to turn down any trade he's not interested in. The rumored return for the Knicks would most likely be Kevin Love unless he was sent to the third team that would most likely have to be involved in a trade.

If Anthony was approached by Phil Jackson about a trade to Cleveland, do you think he would waive his no trade clause?
