Right now ESPN is reporting that Baron Davis will be a New York Knick this season.  It's unclear if he'll be ready to go by the start of the season due to a back injury, but that hasn't stopped the Knicks from offering him a one year deal worth $2.5 million.   Davis was released by the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

The Knicks released veteran point guard Chauncey Billups, who has been picked up off waivers by the LA Clippers.  Now they have another veteran point guard on their hands, who is more prone to injury.  So good or bad move by the Knicks?  For now it looks like Toney Douglas will be the Knicks starting point guard.
