Former nose tackle for the Jets, and Panthers hangs up his cleats after 10 seasons in the NFL. The former Pro-Bowler has decided to call it a career after 2 season of injuries. He contemplated retirement after his first knee injury with he Jets in 2009, and after the second injury with the team in 2010 and his release back in February has helped pushed the one time dominate interior defensive wall.

The trade to the Jets wasn’t all injuries and pain, in 2008 his first year with the Jets he had a career year. His 37 tackles and 3.5 sacks helped propel him to his fourth Pro-Bowl. This hard hit mentality even had him working towards yet another comeback after his week 1 injury last season. His efforts were for not the former Maryland Terp called it quits today.
