Despite being on the road against one of the top programs in the country, the Coastal Carolina baseball team is headed to the College World Series in Omaha!

The Chanticleers swept LSU to win the Baton Rouge Super Regional. Coastal's 4-3 win means that La Salle graduate Zach Remillard is headed to the College World Series as well.

A big week for Remillard, who advanced to the College World Series, and was also drafted in the 10th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Chicago White Sox.

The third baseman is hitting .347 this year but went 0-4 in the win.

Coastal won a walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth.

The College World Series begins on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
