On Monday night, Lake George senior basketball star Joel Wincowski joined an exclusive club with a special place in Section II basketball lore.

After scoring 30 points in a win over Ticonderoga, Wincowski surpassed the 2,000 career point total. After the game, he now has 2,025.

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County commit is just the ninth player in Section II boys' history to reach the feat. NBA player Jimmer Fredette leads that category with 2,404.

He joined me today to talk about the accomplishment.
