All week long we've been hyping up that a prominent athlete will be in the Capital District this summer. Who is that athlete and why is he coming?

It's San Antonio Spurs star forward LaMarcus Aldridge and he's coming to Watervliet High School from July 11-14 for his basketball camp.

Aldridge is coming off his first off his first season in San Antonio, where he averaged 18.0 points per game and helped the Spurs get to the Western Conference semifinals. They eventually fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

We spoke today with John Scott, who works with Aldridge and is helping bring him to the Capital Region.
