The 2018 Section Two football is still a few month away but 104.5 The Team has learned that there will be changes for the upcoming season. The back to back state champion Cambridge team will be leaving Class D and join the Class C ranks. Cambridge is combining with Salem for the upcoming season. Classifications are determined by school enrollment. The complete league changes are below. What schools have the biggest advantages following these changes? Let us know below.

CLASS AA

Albany, Bethlehem, CBA, Colonie, Guilderland, Niskayuna, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, Shaker, Shenendehowa.

4-team playoff. 8-game regular season.

CLASS A

Grasso Division

Ballston Spa, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, Gloversville, Mohonasen, Queensbury, Scotia-Glenville, South Glens Falls.

Capital Division

Amsterdam, Averill Park, Columbia, Green Tech, LaSalle, Troy.

8-team playoff. 7-game regular season.

CLASS B

North Division

Broadalbin-Perth, Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, Johnstown, Schuylerville.

Reinfurt Division

Cobleskill-Richmondville, Hudson, Ichabod Crane, Lansingburgh, Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, Schalmont.

8-team playoff. 7-game regular season.

CLASS C

North Division

Cambridge/Salem, Corinth, Granville, Greenwich, Hoosick Falls, Lake George/Hadley-Luzerne.

Central Division

Canajoharie/Fort Plain, Fonda-Fultonville, Holy Trinity, Mechanicville, Stillwater, Tamarac.

South Division

Cairo-Durham, Chatham, Coxsackie-Athens, Taconic Hills, Voorheesville, Watervliet.

CLASS D

Cohoes (playoff ineligible), Fort Edward, Helderberg Valley, Hoosic Valley, Rensselaer, Warrensburg, Whitehall.

4-team playoff. 8-game regular season.
