Sunday was a big day for athletes with connections to both the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners.

First, Alex Rodriguez, former Mariner and current Yankee, announced that he would play his last game with the Yankees on Friday - and then former Mariner and Yankee Ichiro Suzuki notched his 3,000th hit as a member of the Miami Marlins.

To find out what's made Ichiro so successful over the course of his big league career and to help us find out what kind of guy the quiet superstar is, we brought in Shannon Drayer of ESPN 710 in Seattle, who covered Suzuki for his entire career in Seattle.

Furthermore, we asked Drayer for her reaction to A-Rod's announcement and asked how the city of Seattle feels about the former Mariner.

Finally, Drayer was in Cooperstown for the induction of Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza, what did she think of her experience in Upstate NY?
