Lance Stephenson?  Who?  You know the criticism of LeBron James is getting ridiculous when scrubs on the bench are mocking him.

A bench player named Lance Stephenson, who plays for the Indiana Pacers, actually had the nerve to give LeBron James a choke signal.  LeBron James missed a free throw following a technical foul on Danny Granger in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.

LeBron missed the technical free throw while Miami was trailing 66-55 with 1:32 to go in the 3rd quarter.  Lance Stephenson mocked LeBron James by giving him a choke signal.  Really?  Lance Stephenson is a second-year player out of Cincinnati who only starter one game this season and averaged 2.5 points and 10.5 minutes per game.  Like WWE wrestler "The Rock" used to say, "Know your role, and shut your mouth."

It's ridiculous for a player, who barely even sees the floor, to do something stupid like this.  Why risk it?  Why risk motivating LeBron James?  Why give the three-time MVP even more incentive to dismantle your team?  It's simply a stupid move.  The Pacers didn't clinch the series by winning Game 3 against the Miami Heat 94-75.  The Pacers still have to win two more games.  Know your role and shut your mouth, Lance.  Those are words to live by.
