For the third time in his career, Lebron James of the Miami Heat takes MVP honors.  The award was handed out Saturday afternoon.Lebron joins a select group of players who have also won the award on three occasions.  Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Moses Malone, and Wilt Chamberlain were all three time MVPs in the NBA.  Each one of those players each have at least one NBA title as well.

Out of 121 possible first place votes, James received 85.  He beat out Kevin Durant and Chris Paul who took the second and third place spots among voters this year.

On Sunday Lebron and the Heat continue their quest for an NBA title as they open up a series against the Indiana Pacers.  That game will be at 3:30p on ABC.
