Today Levack and Goz will be broadcasting live from The Century House in Latham today starting at 2pm. The event is a fundraiser for J.P. Honsinger, a teenager in the capital region who has been diagnosed with Niemann-Pick Type C (a form of childhood Alzheimer's disease). This rare disease is a genetic, neurodegenerative disorder which causes progressive deterioration of the nervous system. It usually affects children by interfering with their ability to metabolize cholesterol.This event marks the fifth year in which ESPN Radio 1045 The Team and the Honsinger family have partnered together for this event.  The event will include local athletes and coaches from the local colleges and high schools promoting the event.
