Every week I do my locks but I have the entire weekend to choose from so the Thanksgiving Day picks are a little tougher as I pick all three no matter how much I like them. The plus side is I actually do like these games so let's go! Last week I went 1-2 taking the season total to 19-15-1.

The Detroit Lions host the Chicago Bears in the 12:30pm game on Turkey day. I feel like this will be a good game but this is a situation where one team has a clear plan and doesn’t need a lot of help to beat you and the other seems to be unprepared from week to week and needs a little help to get the W. The Lions just topped the Panthers in an ugly game but before that lost by 12 to the Bears. The Bears will be better on a short week and cover the -4 point spread.

The Washington Redskins will get a chance to prove they can still compete without Alex Smith in Dallas at 4:30pm. Here’s the thing I want to believe that the Redskins defense, Adrian Peterson and Colt McCoy will band together and keep this thing close, BUT I think that’s an insult to just how important Alex Smith really is to this team. The Cowboys roll at Jerry’s world and cover -7.

Each week I wait for the Atlanta Falcons to rise up and play winning football and 6 times out of ten I end up being disappointed. The Saints saw what the Rams did on Monday night and they will slap the daylights out of the Falcons on Thanksgiving night as a clap back. Saints - 13.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
