Levack’s Top Five Horses In the Kentucky Derby [VIDEO]

Five horses I like in the Kentucky Derby:

5) My 5^th horse in the Derby is the 15 McCracken 5-1 odds. I know it’s childish but the name Phil McCracken always makes me laugh

4) Patch! He’s in the 20 slot and has one eye and is a long shot at 30-1 but come on man how can you not love this horse?!

3) The 17 horse Irish War Cry! I like the 6 to 1 and I love the name!

2) Classic Empire 4 to 1 odds in the 14 and a favorite for many!

1) I love the 5 horse Always Dreaming. I’ve heard he hasn’t had the perfect week but Todd Pletcher and Johnny V have never won a Kentucky Derby together. I’m all in on Always Dreaming.

Now there’s a chance it will be a complete wash out with terrible rain storms in which case pick your favorite long shot and throw a few bucks down because anything can happen in the rain. In that case I’ll take a stab at the 12 Soneteer 50-1 and the Desormeaux brother’s putting aside their differences to team up like they did with Exaggerator.
