Local High Schools Rank In Best Sports School In State
The Shenendehowa Plainsmen continue to show why are one of the premier sports high schools in Upstate New York. The Section 2 school ranked third in the overall thirty five best school athletes for 2019 The upstatenewyork.com article uses this as their criteria
The rankings are based on 50 percent of student and parent reviews while the rest measures student participation in athletics, number of sports offered at the school, winning championships, and enrollment.
. The accomplishments of the high school in the past school year are listed below. Shen alumni have had a successful post high school career as well in 2018. Kevin Huerter finished his career at Maryland then followed it up by getting drafted by the NBA's Atlanta Hawks. Ian Anderson continues his career with the Atlanta Braves organization as he was recently promoted to the Double AA. Two other Section 2 schools made the cut. What schools are they?
