Local Libraries Receive Grant To Promote Literacy

Twenty four local libraries in Broome, Chenango, Delaware and Tioga counties will share a $7,200 grant through Senator Tom Libous' BOOKS program in partnership with Morrisville College.

Each library will receive $300 to purchase new children's books in an effort to promote child literacy. To learn more about the BOOKS program go to booksprogram.com
