Macho Man Died From Heart Disease

Something went wrong with “Macho Man” Randy Savage’s heart before he crashed his car into a tree and died.

According to a medical examiner, something went wrong with “Macho Man” Randy Savage’s heart before he crashed his car and died on May 20.  He lost consciousness and crashed into a tree.  The cause of Macho Man’s death has been declared as heart disease.

The 58-year-old Randy Poffo, known as Randy Savage, had an enlarged heart with severe blocking of his coronary arteries.  Poffo only sustained minor injuries from the car crash.  There were traces of alcohol and hydrocodone in Poffo’s system, but officials say the amounts weren’t significant enough to factor into the crash.
