Make That 6 NHL Coaches Fired Already

Momma don't raise your son to be an NHL coach. The average life span behind the bench for an NHl coach was 3.5 years however i think that number has dropped again. Jacques Martin was relieved of his spot behind the Canadiens bench on Saturday morning. His former club didn't respond being beaten by the NJ Devils 5-3. So far the LA Kings, Carolina Hurricanes, St Louis Blues, Washington Capitals, Anaheim Ducks and now the Habs have had their coach walk the plank.

Further adding to my argument that coaches are fired way too soon none of these clubs except St Looie has a record over 500 since changing the head man. Fans will always insist that it's the coaches fault why teams fail but once again based on this sampling that is just not so.
