Malachi Jones Is This Week’s Albany Empire Player To Watch

The Albany Empire are on the road this week looking to win two in a row against the Washington Valor. The Empire won last Saturday night in commanding fashion 47 - 23 with a great effort on both sides of the ball especially last week's "Player to Watch" Joe Hills. This week I have my eye on Wide Receiver Malachi Jones and I'm not alone.

Earlier this week we had Empire Wide Receiver Joe Hills in studio and he said that Jones was would be "playing outside" soon enough. That means he believes that Malachi Jones could be on an NFL roster sooner than later. This is seriously high praise from arguably the best receiver in the AFL.

So far this season Jones the 6' 3 215  pound wide receiver out of Appalachian State has 18 catches for 226 yards with 3 touchdowns and a rushing touchdown as well.
