An unidentified-man made two bets on September 6th at the MGM Grand.  The St. Louis Cardinals barely had a pulse at the time.  They were trailing the Atlanta Braves by 7.5 games in the NL Wild Card race.  The Cardinals were a 500/1 longshot on Sept. 6 to make it to the World Series.  The man wagered $250 to win $125,000.  He won.

He also made another bet the same day.  The Cardinals were a 999/1 longshot to win the World Series.  The man wagered $250 to win $250,000.  The St. Louis Cardinals pulled out one of the most dramatic wins in World Series history by coming from behind five separate times in Game 6 against the Texas Rangers.  The Cardinals went on to win Game 7 on Friday night which means that this lucky yahoo cashed in big time!  Good for him.
