Manny Machado Makes Amazing Play [VIDEO]

During my decorated little league career I must have tried the hidden ball trick 100 times. It never worked. In Manny Machado's half of a Major League season he was able to pull off something almost as legendary.

Check out this video of Machado, who has been dubbed the next A-Rod, making a fool out of the Rays' Rich Thompson with a fantastic fake throw. Machado was able to bait Thompson to make a turn, then swiftly threw behind him to trap him in a run down and secure the 3rd out of the inning. Not only was the play brilliantly well executed, but it came in the 9th inning of a huge game as both the O's and the Rays battle for the postseason. Hats off, Manny.
