Johnny Manziel may soon be known as Johnny "Jail time". The former 1st round draft pick of the Cleveland Browns was indicted by a Dallas County grand jury on a misdemeanor assault charge for hitting ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley.

Manziel is accused of hitting Crowley so hard that she temporarily lost hearing. The confrontation started outside of a Dallas area hotel and continued in the valet station where Manziel forcibly dragged her into a car and took off. The misdemeanor assault charge carries a maximum of one-year in jail and a $4,000 fine is found guilty.

Crowley currently has a protective order against Manziel.

The Browns cut Manziel in March after two troublesome seasons engulfed by a whirlwind of headlines both off the field and on. Manziel's drinking and partying seemed to have a bigger priority over his playing career, even landing him in a rehab facility.

Manziel passed for 1,675 yards with seven touchdowns and seven interceptions in 14 career games. With this latest case against him, chances are his mediocre career is over.
