Mariano Rivera would pick a Red Sox player over a Yankees ... well, at least a former Yankee.

In experts released by the NY Daily News, in Rivera's new book "The Closer", which was released this week, Rivera says that he'd rather have Dustin Pedroia at second base than Robinson Cano:

"If I have to win one game," said Rivera, in his book, "I'd have a hard time taking anybody over Dustin Pedroia as my second baseman."

Rivera went on to say that Cano does not, "burn to be the best".
