Who could’ve seen this coming? Lo and behold there is a quarterback controversy between Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. Unbelievable!

Look, neither quarterback is very good. Neither quarterback is going to make much difference for the New York Jets this season. The Jets have some injury issues (Santonio Holmes is out and Dustin Keller and Stephen Hill are still banged up). The best weapon Sanchez has to throw to right now is Jeremy Kerley. Tebow isn’t turning water into wine with this current group either.

Tim Tebow only completed 46.5% of his passes last season as a member of the Denver Broncos. That’s awful. Mark Sanchez is only completing 48.4% of his passes this season for the New York Jets (going into Week 6). That’s brutal too. Let’s stop talking about this supposed quarterback controversy as if one of these guys gives the Jets a much better chance of winning this year than the other guy. Neither guy is very good and the Jets are going nowhere fast this season.
