Mascot Breaks Backboard On A Dunk [VIDEO]

Check out Boomer, the Indiana Pacers' mascot, smashing a backboard at a high school game.

Boomer must be a little heavier these days.  The Indiana Pacers' mascot totally shatters a backboard during a New Palestine vs. Triton Central high school basketball game.  At least, Boomer did a successful Shaquille O'Neal impression. 

I love the reaction by the student body.  Everyone pauses for a second to digest what just happened.  Once they realize that everybody is unharmed, they go crazy.  I can sense what was going through some of their heads; "Whoa.  He just totally broke that backboard.  Wow.  Is anybody hurt?  No.  Well, shattering a backboard is pretty cool!  Let's go crazy!"  Gotta love it.
