Matt Cassel Traded To Cowboys

Bills traded backup quarterback Matt Cassel to the Dallas Cowboys in a deal that included a swap of the team's 2017 draft choices. EJ Manuel will now be the number two quarterback behind starter Tyrod Taylor. Manuel was inactive for the first two games of the season.

The Cowboys put quarterback Tony Romo on the short term IR after breaking his clavicle. Cassel will battle for the starting spot with Brandon Weeden, who led the Cowboys to a division victory after against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
