Despite being roughed up again on Tuesday night, giving up five earned runs in five innings, Matt Harvey will make his next scheduled start, per Adam Rubin.

Harvey suffered the loss against the Nationals for the second time in a week. His record now stands at 3-7 and his ERA at a whopping 6.08.

There's any number of things that could be wrong with Harvey right now:

1) He could be injured.

2) He could have a tired arm from throwing too much last season, one year from Tommy John surgery.

3) He could be in his own head. This is often the case with struggling athletes. Harvey has likely never experienced real failure and has likely never had the fans turn on him the way they have in New York, so it's hard to try to focus on the positives when they seem to be crashing down around you.

What's next for Harvey? If this start doesn't go well, I'd say skip a start of take a trip to the DL to get his mind right.
