Mature Audiences Only: Sports Illustrated’s Ben Baskin on the Giants

Facing an 0-3 start to the season and with it, the all-but-guarantee of missing the playoffs (only 3 teams in NFL history have reached the postseason after losing its first 3 games), the Giants face arguably their toughest test yet. As expected, New York's offensive line has been exploited and embarrassed and it will face one of the better pass rushes in all of football this Sunday. The Eagles front line, highlighted by Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox, has recorded 8 sacks through 2 games.

The turmoil in New York goes beyond that turnstyle of an offensive line. Ben McAdoo's displeasure with Eli Manning's performances has played out in the media. Whether there is a method to McAdoo's madness, whether this team turns it around or not, it's a bad look for the second year head coach.
