The Mets pitching staff is regarded as one of the best in baseball and ESPN's Buster Olney has an even stronger compliment for the Cubs offensive players.

"[This series] is pitching against the hitting," said ESPN's Buster Olney, to "Armen and Levack", on 104.5 The Team. "I don’t think there is any doubt that pound-for-pound, man-for-man, the Cubs have the most talented group of position players in baseball.

"When you can just talk about someone like a Kyle Schwarber being a complementary hitter to a group that has Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant and even Javier Baez, who has taken over at shortstop for Addison Russell, he may have more swing-and-miss issues than a lot of classic hitters. He also might have more bat speed than any hitter in baseball.

"Based off my conversations with talent evaluators, you love the big hitters with the big power, facing a rotation of guys who can throw so hard."

Game one of the NLCS, Cubs at Mets, is Saturday night at 8:07p ET on 104.5 The Team.
