Mets Sign Michael Cuddyer

Monday was a good day for the Mets as young ace Jacob deGrom took home Rookie of the Year honors. But the Mets also added a middle-of-the-order bat in Rockies free agent outfielder Michael Cuddyer.

They also got him at a reasonable price and aren't saddled with several years of a bad contract. He hit .331 just two years ago and made the all-star team.
