It's the second straight Gold Cup final that Mexico has beaten the United States, this one is just a little bit more disappointing.

The US men's soccer team looked to be on the right track to take home the 2011 Gold Cup.  Unfortunately Mexico was more on track.  They beat the US once again in the final by a final score of 4-2.

Mexico was able to rally back after being down 2-0 early to change the momentum of the game right before the halfway point. Pablo Barrera was the biggest factor in the game change, he would score twice for Mexico.

This loss means more than just losing the Gold Cup for the United States.  It also means that they will not be able to compete in the Confederations Cup in 2013, just a year before the World Cup.
