It's very likely that Michael Vick could be off the free agent market by Monday. NJ.com is reporting that the veteran QB will be visiting the Jets facility this weekend.

The Jets first-off, need someone to compete with second-year starter Geno Smith. While Vick has been waiting for a starting gig, it's most likely that he has the belief that he can be Smith in open competition like he did against Nick Foles in Philadelphia.

Gang Green has also gotten to a point where they need to save face. After letting guys go like Austin Howard, Santonio Holmes, Antonio Cromartie and others, and replacing them with only Eric Decker and Breno Giacomini, the Jets fan base is starving for a name.

Vick is definitely a name. Is he the best candidate to push Smith? Will he be able to stay healthy? All those are looming questions.
