Dallas Keuchel won the American League Cy Young Award, besting David Price (Tigers/Blue Jays) and Sonny Gray (Athletics), but have no fear, Yankee fans. The Pinstripes weren't forgotten in the conversation...

Closer Andrew Miller received three points in the voting while reliever Dellin Betances received one.

Miller, in his first year with the Yankees, went 3-2 with 36 saves. He posted a 2.04 ERA and helped build one of the best late-inning tandems in baseball.

He struck out an impressive 14.6 batters per nine innings.

Betances went 6-4, fading a bit down the stretch though. He had nine saves as well while posting a 1.50 ERA. He struck out 14.0 batters per nine innings.

There's no doubt that Miller and Betances are one of the best late-inning combinations in baseball, but I'm not sure I buy into a set-up man as a Cy Young candidate. Betances is great, but those awards are reserved for starters, and high-level closers.
