Get ready to see America's pastime in a whole new way in this trailer for the PlayStation 4 version of MLB 14: The Show.

You might need to protect your eyes, because the graphics in this trailer will likely make them bleed with joy. If they don't bleed, then you'll probably just weep at the graphical wonder created by SCEA San Diego Studios in MLB: 14 The Show.

An update on the PlayStation Blog, SCEA San Diego Studios' community manager Ramone Russell runs down some of the changes that were made to give MLB 14: The Show a better look on the PlayStation 4. Stadiums were rebuilt, the lighting engine was redone to showcase self-shadowing at night, more detailed crowds were added and grass and player hair were all rendered individually. In other words, this is going to be a very pretty, detailed game.

If you have the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions of the game, both of which are currently available, you can use the cross-save feature to carry over your progress when the PlayStation 4 version is released on May 6.
