There is no one quite like Pete Rose. Not only in baseball, but in all of sports. Few have had the accomplished and controversial career of Rose. He is the all-time hits leader, a 17-time all-star, 3-time World Series champ, including the MVP of the 1975 series and yet, as you know, Rose is not in the Hall of Fame.

In my book, he's a Hall of Famer and should have a plaque in Cooperstown. Don't group Rose in with the players of the steroid era, members of which, by the way, are already in the Hall of Fame.

On September 14th at the Palace Theater, Rose will share some of his greatest stories and memories as part of '4192: An Evening with Pete Rose.' Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 8th and you can hear our interview with Rose from Big Board Sports right here:
