The Foothills Council had some interesting results.

R.J. Pingitore delivered two hits and one RBI to lead Broadalbin-Perth over Gloversville, 2-1.

Pushing across three runs in the seventh inning, Johnstown turned away Scotia-Glenville, 6-5. The Sir Bills used two squeeze bunts to score twice.

You could say that Nick McKinney had a big day with three two-run homers (four hits total) and six RBI to propel Glens Falls past Queensbury, 7-5, in nine innings.

Albany Academy used the pitching of Justin Brock and the hitting of Ted Smallwood to help knock off Ichabod Crane, 9-0, in the Colonial Council. Brock pitched a four-hitter and Smallwood collected five hits.

A six-run eighth inning lifted Watervliet past Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 11-5.

Riley Laustrip connected on a two-run homer, double, single and five RBI to spearhead Lansingburgh over Schalmont, 6-5.

Mike Chiseri had two doubles and five RBI to power Voorheesville past Cohoes, 15-9.

Another five RBI game went to Tanner Parks. He delivered four hits as Cobleskill-Richmondville whipped Mechanicville, 17-3.

J.T. Sawyer rapped four singles and five RBI to lead Hoosic Valley past Granville, 13-9, in a Wasaren League contest.

Fort Plain continued its winning ways downing Galway, 12-1, in the Western Athletic Conference. Marcus Failing led the 15-hit attack with two singles, two RBI and three runs scored.

In softball, Dani Hennel also had a no-hitter and struck out 14 as Duanesburg silenced Saratoga Catholic, 12-0, in a WAC game.

Hannah Barr helped the offensive attack with a three-run homer.

Camille Nowak plated across six runs to lead Schenectady over Bishop Maginn, 15-0, in the Big 10.

Allison Ford tossed a one-hitter and belted three hits as Mechanicville beat Cobleskill-Richmondville, 18-0, in a Colonial Council contest.

Alex Rollis pitched a no-hitter and struck out 12 to lead Loudonville Christian over Doane Stuart, 15-0, in Central Hudson Valley League competition. Rollis also starred at the plate with three hits and four RBI.

In girls lacrosse, Carrie Hanks and Kelly Schlansker each tallied three goals and Kayla Treanor contributed two goals and three assists as Niskayuna beat Shenendehowa, 12-4, in Suburban Council play.

Tori McGrath unleashed five goals as Bethlehem downed Averill Park, 9-6.

Victoria Huff scored five goals and Schuylerville won over Greenwich, 19-9, in a Foothills Council game.

Lydia Knapp scored six goals while Emily White and Chloe Knapp each tallied four times and Glens Falls bested rival South Glens Falls, 17-16.

Taylor Volkman put together six goals and Courtney Coons five goals for the Bulldogs.

Casey White had six goals and two assists as Queensbury beat Schenectady, 12-9, in non-league play.

Alexis Yagielski starred with five goals and an assist and Scotia-Glenville defeated Johnstown, 15-9, in the Foothills Council.

In boys lacrosse, Saratoga Springs got past Burnt Hills, 8-7, in Suburban Council play. Ben Cummings, Dan Costello, Anthony Zabielski and J.R. Campbell each delivered two goals.

Connor Drislane scored two goals and five assists as Guilderland beat Columbia, 13-4.

And Andrew Nevins collected five goals and an assist to help Schuylerville top Greenwich, 13-10, in the Wasaren League.

Sean Behrmann scored four goals and an assist as CBA overpowered Amsterdam, 22-2, in Big 10 play.
