NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart To Race At Fonda Speedway

He is the defending NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion, he just won a big race in Daytona last week and now Tony Stewart is making a local appearance racing at the Fonda Speedway next Thursday July 19th.

Proving that the man just loves to race and will race just about anything, Stewart will be driving his very own #14 Sprint Car during Fonda Speedway's All-Star Circuit Of Champions 410 Sprints. Racing is set for 7pm. The gates will open at 5pm.

This is not the first time Tony has visited the area as he has made appearances at Fonda and Lebanon Valley Speedway in the past.

Stewart is currently 5th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings and has won 3 races this season including last Saturday at Daytona. Tony was docked six points in the driver and owner standings for cooling hose infractions during his qualifying run at Daytona.  Stewart would have started second but because of the violation Stewart had to start at the back of the pack and ended up winning.
