My 1st trip to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway was an exciting, but frustrating experience.

Ok, truth be told, the only bad part of the day was the lack of road signs to keep me pointed in the right direction both to and from the track.....it couldn't have been me....

As for the race, Matt Kenseth brought home the victory after taking the lead from Kyle Bush on lap 271, who led the most laps(133), and holding off a late charging Tony Stewart. Kenseths # 20 Toyota was strong all day (especially on the long runs) and once he got the lead late, never looked back. It was Kenseths 2nd win in a row in N.H. and 38th of his career.

Stewart finished 2nd after a bold move on a late restart and passed Joey Lagano, Kevin Harvick, and the #11 of Denny Hamlin in turn 1 & 2, moving him from 6th to 3rd and he eventually ran down Kyle Bushs # 18 Toyota in the closing laps. With the 2nd place finish, Stewart solidified himself a position in this years Championship Chase in his final season.

Joey Logano finished third in a close finish edging out Kevin Harvick by only .019 sec, Greg Biffle finished 5th followed by Jamie McMurray, Ryan Newman, Kyle Bush, with Denny Hamlin and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. rounding out the top 10.

Alex Bowman did a great job filling in for Dale Earnhardt Jr, running in the top 10 most of the day until he found trouble with contact with Kurt Bush and finishing 26th.

Next race up, The Brickyard 400!!
