If Carmelo Anthony leaves the New York Knicks organization this summer then it will be considered one of the biggest failures that the team has ever seen (and that's saying something).

For everything the Knicks gave up for 'Melo, if he walks out with the team getting nothing in return then that's the biggest mistake. Ever.

From what I've seen, I don't buy for a minute that Anthony is going to be back in New York. Read his body language, his negative comments after games, etc. His frustration is at a all-time high in the 'Empire State'.

Reports indicate the Knicks are in talks with Toronto for point guard Kyle Lowrey in exchange for possibly Iman Shumpert, Raymond Felton, etc.

If the Knicks are more worried about their point guard position then maybe they know something that we don't. Truthfully, I hope they know something that we don't.

Maybe they feel like they can keep 'Melo if they show him they know have an upgrade at point guard?

Just seems doubtful to me. That's we should be hearing about 'Melo being shopped and not some trade for a point guard.
