Last nights Brooklyn Nets face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers, had a lot of different storylines. None which had to do with basketball.

Yes, Lebron James and the Cavaliers look like they got it together, winning its 7th straight game by beating Brooklyn 110-88.

The real story line comes before the game even started, when Brooklyn's Jarret Jack approached LeBron James and Kyrie Irving with " I Can't Breathe Shirts". During the pre-game all three players were seen wearing the shirts.

"I've been quoted over and over about what's going on as far as it's more of a notion to the family, more than anything. Obviously, as a society we have to do better. We have to be better for one another. It doesn't matter what race you are. It's more of a shout out to the family more than anything, because they're the ones that should be getting all the energy and effort. - LeBron James on wearing "I Can't Breathe T-shirt"

It was a tribute to honor Eric Garner, an African American, who died after being placed in a chokehold by officer Daniel Pantaleo of the New York City police.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who was also in attendance supported his star players saying - “I respect Derrick Rose and all of our players for voicing their personal views on important issues, but my preference would be for players to abide by our on-court attire rules,”

The royal storyline came in the midst of the 1st quarter when, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, decided to take come watch King James perform in Brooklyn.

James was able to meet the royal family after the game saying " I've had people from all across the board as far as stature, but the President of the United States, that was pretty huge. To have those two, to say they were traveling here and one of the things that they wanted to do was see me play, it's a pretty big deal in my household."

Other notables in the audiance consisted of New York Yankees pitch C.C Sabathia, his ROC Nation boss Jay-z, and his wife the stunning Beyonce.
